Obviously don't buy this unless you've read the other volumes in the arc (4, 5, and 6), but if you're not sure about it, I would recommend this arc as I find it to be the most exciting Pokemon arc out there. This cap to the arc was very fun to read, and I found the convergence of the several main characters to fight the common enemies incredibly dramatic. The final battle between Yellow and Lance was super-tense due to all the power plays and counterattacks coming from both sides.It's quite a bit more mature than the anime. I wouldn't give it to very young children that are just starting to read or whatever, but there's nothing especially vulgar or violent, so I wouldn't have any problem giving it to most kids.Would recommend to everyone who is a fan of Pokemon.

I thought this book was a great last instalment of the series. however, I was hoping red could defeat lance and really end the saga beautifully. but, that is all pushed aside when it gives you a preview of the next book. other than that the rest is great the characters each have there own personality and the story is a real in dept story in it self. #great read

The Yellow arc was such a suspenseful, tense arc, and I always felt on the edge of my seat reading it. However, I feel like the final battle of the arc ended all of a sudden and I went right from being in the middle of the battle to wondering why everything was so calm. There should have been a little bit of visual closure to make the transition less jarring.

The story is considerably darker, the characters have more personality to them, they stay as close to the original Video Game story as possible, and it's far less repetitive than the Anime. I'm glad that I decided to collect the entire Manga series!

My son can't get enough of these books!

I have not read these. But it is keeping the kids reading. They are thrilled with them. They have the complete set of 7 now.
